Our systems give you the knowledge to manage costs and improve profit

By giving the ability to monitor and report on the production and efficiency of the plant (and the equipment and people in it) and to look at this over a period of time, then trends and patterns can be identified that can lead to improvements in productivity.

The errors and faults thrown up by the system can also be analysed by frequency giving engineering managers the ability to focus their maintenance on specific problem areas that maybe slowing down production or causing 'bottle necks' in the system.

An example of monitoring

- in an industrial laundry

These two charts (actual reports from two separate days) show weight loaded vs hours of work for linen dropped into a batch washer from a rail system.

"Day 1" shows an average day when the rail system had a large amount of linen in the roof when the washer is started up at 3 am.

It can be seen that on "day 2" the washer was started too early and had to be stopped between 7 and 8 am due to lack of suitable work for the washer thus wasting energy reheating/starting the washer between 7 and 8 once suitable work was available and again between 1 and 2 PM due to a technical failure on a key part of the system. This failure can be seen in the diagnostic report for that period as bags were not coming off the storage lines correctly. (the diagnostic is set when the fault happens and cleared when the bag arrives at its destination)

The stop between 6 and 7 am seen here was noted to be happening quite regularly and based on this information plans were made to try to eliminate this.
